Bambera Is Back!!!!!
Brigadier Winifred Bambera, the no-nonsense UNIT leader from the 1989 TV story Battlefield, is returning to Doctor Who!
We can exclusively reveal that Bambera returns in the upcoming second season of The Lost Stories, in Animal, written by Andrew Cartmel. Once again she is played by Angela Bruce, who was delighted to be reunited with Sylvester McCoy at the recording in April.
"Animal is a great, old-fashioned UNIT story," says producer David Richardson, "in which Bambera and her troops are investigating some strange events at a university. And then the Doctor and Raine arrive..."
Animal, and the upcoming Lost Stories, are available for pre-order now.

New Review Time!
Hi all, Since there will be no podcast for a bit i thought of a new idea of doing Doctor Who, DVD's, CD's, VHS's, Book,s Comic's, etc reviews! So here's the first one.........
DVD review
Doctor Who: The Beginning Box Set, An Unearthly Child
"The First Ever Doctor Who Adventures Come To DVD - Plus Exclusive Bonus Features!"
Well first of we all have An Unearthly Child, the Doctor Who story that started it all. Now it's not my favorite story but is one of them, the story is just like "What the hell is going on here!" But it just works i don't know how it just does.
This DVD (i think) is pretty low on Special Futures, they are good one's though: Pilot Episode - Studio Recording which is the unedited 35 minutes of the studio session. There is all so the Theme Tune Music Video which is the long version of that never forget theme tune. Then we come to the best! The Comedy Sketches which was on TV in 1999 on Doctor Who Night, it stars Mark Gatiss and David Walliams in: The Pitch Of Fear, The Web Of Caves and The Kidnappers which stars Peter Davidson. Then there is The Corridor Sketch which shows a glimpse at the how early Doctor Who may have looked with a different actor in the title role. Which stars (A very young) Nick Briggs
TSP (The Shadow Proclamations) RATING 7/10
Next Time: Doctor Who: The Beginning Box Set, The Daleks

The Forge is Back..............
Avid followers of Big Finish's audio Doctor Who adventures will know all about The Forge, a secret organization led by the vampire Nimrod. The Sixth Doctor first encountered them in Project: Twilight (released in 2001), then the Sixth and Seventh Doctors were embroiled in another Forge encounter, Project: Lazarus (released in 2003). And since then, fans have been crying out, 'When are you doing the final story in the trilogy?'
Well, writers Cavan Scott and Mark Wright have teamed up once again to create Project: Destiny, to be released this September as the first story in 2010’s second Sylvester McCoy mini-season. Actor Stephen Chance will once again reprise his popular role as Nimrod, when the Seventh Doctor and Ace return to Earth after the shooting of their companion Hex, only to find that London is not what it was… Also guest starring in the story is Maggie O’Neill (Shameless, Peak Practice, Invasion: Earth) as Captain Lysandra Aristedes.
“Over the years we’ve had many requests to continue the Forge storyline,” says executive producer Nicholas Briggs, “and indeed, Nimrod and his cronies almost got their own spin-off series a while back! But, instead, they’re back with a vengeance in this thrilling story of alien mutation and personal betrayals. Be warned – a long-kept secret is about to be divulged, and things may never be the same again.”
The mini-season continues in October with A Death in the Family by acclaimed author Steven Hall, in which the Doctor meets someone from his past and someone from his future.
“We’ll blow one of those surprises here and now,” says Briggs. “The surprise from the past is none other than Evelyn Smythe, played again by Maggie Stables, who teams up with the Doctor to help battle an old foe. We’re delighted to have Maggie back, in what is the first of more appearances to come…”
The story’s villain is The Word Lord, who previously appeared in Hall’s one-parter of the same name on the 45 release. This time around the charismatic but utterly psychotic villain is played by Ian Reddington, who is best known to Doctor Who fans for his memorable performance as the Chief Clown in The Greatest Show in the Galaxy.
The season concludes with Lurkers at Sunlight’s Edge by Marty Ross, a horror story set in the Arctic Circle.

Doctor Who: The Creature from the Pit DVD
Synopsis: The Doctor and Romana receive a distress signal and arrive on Chloris, a lush and verdant world that has only small quantities of metals, all of which are controlled by its ruler, Lady Adrasta.
Adrasta keeps order with the aid of her Huntsman and his wolfweeds - mobile balls of vegetation, while a band of scruffy thieves, led by Torvin, organize raids on her palace to steal whatever metal they can.
The Doctor identifies the distress signal's source as a large eggshell-like structure in the forest. He is taken prisoner By Adrasta's guards and, in order to escape, leaps into the Pit - the entrance to a cave system into which all who incur Adrasta's wrath are consigned to be devoured by an immense green globular creature living within.
